Over the coming months, Better Boating Victoria are running a series of boat trailer launching clinics to help make your boating easier. Whether you’re new to launching, or an experienced boater, these clinics will provide you with an opportunity to practice your trailer reversing skills with the support of experts.
The classes will provide an informative overview of launching and retrieving a boat, a detailed demonstration of how to launch and an opportunity for hands-on practice. By the end of the sessions, you’ll have learnt how to launch a boat safely and successfully.
The sessions run for 45 minutes and there are multiple sessions available throughout the day. When booking your spot, please be aware that some sessions are open to all genders while other sessions will be women only to ensure a comfortable and supportive learning environment for all participants.

Free marine licence opportunity (women-only sessions)
Women in Recreational Fishing and Boating network (WIRFAB), along with Better Boating Victoria, will be delivering women-only events. Participants will have the opportunity to obtain their marine licence and also participate in a boat handling Q&A session, to learn about the complete boat launching process.
