AFN customers have long expressed a demand for a DVD range that takes a very detailed look at how to carry out specific fishing techniques for a variety of species. On the back of such demand, AFN developed its Tactics DVD range. The Tactics range of DVDs have subsequently been produced for several years now and have been popular with Australian anglers. The aim of these DVDs is to offer a very detailed focus on a particular style of fishing or species. These DVDs are typically 60 to 90 minutes in duration, of which the entire DVD is focused on giving anglers everything they need to know about the proposed subject area. Popular titles have included but are not limited to; “Snapper Tactics”, “Soft Plastics Tactics”, “Bream Tactics”, “Flathead Tactics”, “Trout Trolling Tactics” and “Barra Tactics”.

The intent of Tactics DVD’s is to provide an in-depth look at a particular technique, species or location. Our aim with this style of DVD is to have a customer in little doubt about much of the technical detail required to get out there and catch a fish. This product is definitely a niche product and as such some anglers find them “slow” to watch. However, for some, they are exactly what they have been looking for.
