You now have until 25 June 2025 to provide your feedback on the draft NSW Mulloway Harvest Strategy.

We have extended the consultation period for the draft Mulloway Harvest Strategy by one month following the high level of interest and engagement in the consultation process so far.

Mulloway is a prized species in NSW for recreational, commercial and cultural fishers.  It’s important all community members have the chance to submit their feedback on the draft Mulloway Harvest Strategy.

The Draft Mulloway Harvest Strategy and management options have been developed in collaboration with fishers to support continued rebuilding of the NSW Mulloway stock.

The future of Mulloway in NSW is a shared responsibility and this additional month will ensure the views and experiences of fishers are heard and reflected in the finalised harvest strategy.

We appreciate the feedback we have received so far and are looking forward to more fishers providing their thoughts on the best way to ensure a sustainable future for Mulloway.

The submissions received to date have been constructive, with an evident desire to support sensible management measures for the species
