Just a reminder to those that enjoy throwing a line from the Walsh Bay piers to do so responsibly.
These piers are amazing places for all ages and walks of life to unwind and relax while trying to catch the many species on offer in the shadow of the Sydney’s iconic Harbour Bridge.
Just be aware that it is shared space with other members of the public and respect and courtesy goes a long way toward fisher amenity at this location.
Please note the following steps will help ensuring other members of the public view fishing in a positive light:
✅ Leave no litter (bins are provided please use them)
✅ Check behind you before casting
✅ Do not screw rod holders into the life rings and balustrades
✅ Minimise late night noise
✅ Be respectful
✅ Do your bit to promote safe and responsible fishing
