SIMPSON DESERT 50 YEARS ON
In 1962, Reg Sprigg and party were the first to complete a motorised crossing of the Simpson Desert. It was this feat of endurance and navigational skills that inspired adventurer and tour guide Vic Widman to replicate this journey in 2012.
