Description
UV torches activate UV fishing lures due to the specific wavelength they emit, typically around 395 nanometers. This wavelength falls within the ultraviolet spectrum, invisible to human eyes but visible to many species of fish. UV light excites fluorescent pigments present in the fishing lures, causing them to emit light in the visible spectrum.
This fluorescence creates a distinct contrast underwater, making the lures more conspicuous to fish, especially in low-light conditions or murky waters where UV light penetrates effectively. Additionally, UV light triggers a natural predatory response in certain fish species, making them more inclined to strike at the bait.
