The Lake Eildon Fishing Challenge Charity Event was run over the 15th and 16th of May with over 200 keen anglers from all around Victoria, including plenty of keen youngsters – girls & boys!

The event was really well run and was organised and hosted by the Jerusalem Creek Marina & Holiday Park.

The longest Murray cod was 104cm and there were 144 fish caught for the weekend.

Bailey and Zac are actually mates who were fishing together, while sitting on the bank at night, Bailey fell asleep in his chair and awoke to the commotion of his mate Zac diving into the freezing cold water to retrieve Bailey’s rod for him after the 104cm cod pulled it in.
