Our First Ladies Offshore Tuna Charter today was a huge success! To be able to get Ladies out onto Tuna in our own backyard has been on my radar for a good while now and to witness it all come together perfectly today has left me with a huge smile on my dial and on a high!
We picked up the two smaller tuna not long after we started trolling in the morning as well as a big Pike. Then we went bottom bouncing. The ladies were true warriors sitting out the winds which peaked up to 30 knots in the middle of the day till it eventually dropped off in the afternoon.
After catching a nice feed of flatty and pinkies we went tuna hunting again and picked up a beautiful 20kg fish as we headed towards home. We all enjoyed some sashimi whilst the fish were filleted.
