DPIRD is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from passionate NSW recreational fishers with sound fishing knowledge and experience, who are interested in becoming a member of the Recreational Fishing NSW Advisory Council (RFNSW).
RFNSW was established to provide advice to the Minister for Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) and the Department on key recreational fisheries issues.
As a council member, your expertise will deliver on key outcomes on a range of fisheries policies and issues. The advice provided by the council will continue to assist the NSW Government to develop sound policies and decisions to manage fisheries resources and ecosystems, for the benefit of future generations.
This is a unique opportunity to bring your experience and insights to the table, and help guide sustainable and productive fisheries management in NSW.
RFNSW council members will receive a remuneration of $2,500 per annum, plus any travel expenses.
