Harvest strategies are a best-practice tool for fisheries management used around the world. We have been developing harvest strategies for several of our key species to improve assessment and performance of our fisheries – for everyone into the future.
The NSW Mulloway Harvest Strategy will provide a best-practice management framework including objectives, monitoring arrangements and decision rules for managing recreational and commercial harvest, which has been designed to continue rebuilding Mulloway stock biomass to target levels.
